The Grand Carousel

Carousel

Last edited by Elizabeth Gray
This classic was built in 1912 and was home to Riverview Park in New Jersey until 1941, when it was purchased by Knoebels. It costs $1.00 to ride, but if you can grab a brass ring while you go around, you get a free ride.

One of the best carousels in the world, if not THE best. The ring-grabbing is the greatest thing about this already amazing ride! I snagged several rings, but didn't get any brass :) - Vicky Frey

I have seen a lot of great Carousels and Merry-Go-Rounds but this one took my heart. This is the most unique traditional Carousel I have ever ridden. The working pipe organs, beautiful paint job and the original brass ring game, make this a must for everyone visiting this park. If you grab the brass ring you get a free ride or a dollar ticket! A must at Knoebles. SPECIAL NOTE: I am a failure. I had the Brass Ring in my hand and I dropped it. - Elizabeth Gray

WOW! This ride is the best! I completely love it with it's 3 band organs and great speed and brass ring machine! Wonderful carousel, you haven't ridden a carousel until you ride this! -Hershey park has a good one too. - Mike Mills
