Mr. Monkey's Banana Ride is a swing ride in Ranger County at Thorpe Park. It's worth seeing on a time-permitting basis. The minimum height to ride is 36 inches.
A novel twist on the typical pirate ship, this is a huge swinging banana! Being smaller than most there is less capacity for weightlessnes, but the back rows still provide some thrills.
Theming here is excellent, though the queue line leaves something to be desired: a tight cattlepen of low slung ropes, with young children swinging about and adults tripping over! If you make it past the queue line you'll enjoy this. However, the tightness of the queue area is deceptive and wait times can be longer than at first expected. Great fun!
