An outstanding attraction that redefines the combination of roller coaster and dark ride. It's even better at night, when the forest feels truly forbidden.

Best attraction in Orlando.

Finally managed to ride this today with a short queue, arrived for opening at 9 o'clock and got into the line at about 9.15 with the ride being delayed, then at about 9.20 they announced the ride was opened with a 3 hour posted wait, walking through the queue I managed to get into the single rider line (which for some reason is quite a way into the main queue) but then moved very quickly and got off of the ride at about 9.35. So all in all, I only waited for 20 mins for a 3 hour queue. The ride was very good, and the motorbike is a better experience than the side car. The animatronics were great and the launches were surprisingly fast. The only disappointment was the *spoiler* drop section. It wasn’t that much of a drop, only like 1 story. I am used to th13teens drop section which is longer, and whilst on the comparison, this ride felt like an improved and story driven version of th13teen at Alton towers.
The ride dropped down to a 60 minute wait at about 11 o’clock, at which point I rode again in the side car with a 10 minute wait in the single rider queue.
Whilst I really enjoyed this ride I do not feel like it is worth over an hour to wait for it especially when the rest of the rides in the park were only 5-20 minutes. Although saying that, speaking to one of the managers at Incredible Hulk, he said that they had been over posting on the wait times for hagrid to account for possible break downs and bad weather, meaning that some people were only queuing for 40 minutes in a 3 hour posted queue.
Definitely worth a ride and a great addition to the park which is only getting better especially with the velocicoaster coming next year.

Ok, so I may end up being the only Debbie Downer on this, but I felt the coaster itself was OK. The theming was good. The animatronics outside of Hagrid were really poor. Fluffy looked like something one would purchase from Spirit Halloween store. The cast member said it’s a nice upgrade from Dueling Dragons and I disagree. When the coasters were new and actually “dueling” it was an incredible dual experience. Of course take away the dueling concept and add to it the fact Ice aged very badly and yeah, at the end it wasn’t good and Hagrid’s is an upgrade from that.

This ride would undoubtedly be a better experience at night.
