Dear Robert,
my name is Sanjay Ram and I am a Dutch language teacher in Holland. Thanks for all the very nice articles.
I am a theme park fan of 45 years old and I love theme parks. Unfortunately, my health allows me to only ride mild coasters like BTM. Love dark rides.
I only once visited Orlando and I love to go back one day. I really liked all the attractions.
In Holland we are blessed with the Efteling although they can use some new additions.
I also think Ratatouille is a very good step in the right direction for DLP. They can use 2 or 3 e-tickets but I expect that in the near future. Think TSM, Soarin and they really need a water ride, never mind the costs.

Parc Asterix is a hidden gem.

The reason I write this mail is that I visited Verdun this weekend and ran into an exceptional museum attraction. Unfortunately I didn't make a video, it isn't on you tube. It is a dark ride of half an hour(!) in the souterain of the Citadel of Verdun. With some 3D displays, video en some props they are telling the story of the dismal battle at Verdun.
On the route they actually have a kind of trackless vehicles! You can see the route on the floor but still. It isn't of course a Mystic Manor or a Ratatouille but it was a very atmospheric ride. A a foreign traveller you get an audio guide which was sometimes out of sync but still; half an hour!
