We're thinking about going to Orlando in about a week (10th-15th). We will probably spend a couple of days in WDW (HS & epcot), a day at US & a day at SW.

Epcot will be crowded on the weekends for Food and Wine. (You didn't mention it, but The Magic Kingdom will have Halloween parties on the 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th and will be somewhat crowded on those days as a result.) Universal Studios Florida will close early (and be crowded) the 12-15th for Halloween Horror Nights. Otherwise, I expect mild to moderate crowds at the other parks.
Go the first week of December. ??
Actually, we decided to wait until the last wk of January. Especially considering "Mathew" is coming.....
This Friday should be pretty quiet.
October is usually a pretty good time to go. Weather usually is nice (besides the current hurricane) and the parks aren't extremely crowded.
