I haven't seen either and they are both playing next week when I'm going to DHS. I love Star Wars but I've heard Fantasmic! is a classic. Which should I see?

If you have any chance of seeing Fantasmic at Disneyland after it reopens I'd suggest seeing the Star Wars show. Both versions of Fantasmic are great, but I think the Disneyland version nudges ahead of the one in Florida on several fronts. If all else fails, flip a coin and regret nothing!

I would agree with Rob...IF DLR's Fantasmic hasn't been downgraded by the time it reopens.

Yes, fantasmic is a classic but it hasn't changed since it opened at hollywood studios, however if you haven't seen any of the other versions at the other parks, I would recommend seeing it.
However Star Wars a galactic spectacular is amazing with the projection and other effects.
It all comes down to whether you like Star Wars or disney classics more.
Also the Star Wars show has a lot better fireworks than fantasmic does.
Personally I would chose Star Wars galactic spectacular, but just make sure you get a good view near the Chinese theatre.
