Universal Orlando - Upgrade tickets question...

October 17, 2014, 8:47 PM

We're going to Orlando in January, and planning to spend most of our time at WDW. However we want to go to Universal primarily to see some/all of the Harry Potter stuff.

The problem is that a one-day Universal Park-to-Park ticket is expensive and feels like a bad deal. And we don't want to commit two days to Universal if we can help it.

Is it possible for us to get a one-day Universal one-park ticket, go into the park using it for our admission, see how much stuff we get through and how eager we are to see the other Harry Potter stuff, and then before the end of that day upgrade the ticket to either a two-day or park-to-park ticket ?

All info appreciated and thanks!

Yes. In fact, Universal has had ticket sellers at both stations of the Hogwarts Express to process up-sells right there, so you don't have to walk back to the front gate to upgrade your ticket to park-to-park.
