My husband and I are traveling with an 11 year old boy next week--would it make a difference to go on a weekday or weekend? Can we do the park in one day and if so - should we get the front of the line pass? Thanks, Margo!

Hey Margo,

You certainly will be able to do the park in one day (It's not as large and expansive as it's Orlando sibling) Some people still call it a half day park, but at least you'll be able to see everything!

Weekdays will most likely be lighter & you shouldn't need a front of the line pass if you get there when the park opens.

You should definitely do the Lower Lot first (Transformers, Jurassic Park & Mummy) Rides these as many times as you like (theres also Single Rider Lines if you choose to use them, but again, on a weekday at park opening, you'll be fine)

After doing the lower lot, head to the Upper Lot, you can do the Studio Tour & Simpsons. From that point, you can choose any of the remaining attractions (Shrek & horror house) or shows. After you leave the park, be sure to check out City walk.

Also, Despicable Me is scheduled to open this Spring. I don't think it will be open by the time you visit, but in the event that the ride is in a soft open, I'd suggest hitting that first before the Lower Lot.

HAve fun!
