America's first hydraulic launched coaster with inversions. Launches to speeds of 72 MPH before flying over a 150 foot top hat up, and 180 foot drop, through a dive loop and finally an inline twist and "Flying Snake Dive"
This was really scary to me and is one of the most scariest rides I've ever been on. It would have been SO much better if the seats weren't so open and I felt more enclosed. The worse part is that they give you pretty much nothing to hang on which is a no because the ride is so intense it's stupid to grab onto that rope like thing. With that said the ride is pretty intense and the high twisting inversion was profound but it seems coasters now a days are computerized and, I don't know....not as earthy? - Raymond Ass
Love the launch. The launch is worth any shortness this ride might have. Also the inversions are really good too! One of my favorite coasters. - Jeff K
A good launch coaster that is not quite long or smooth enough. Not worth the wait. Good launch. - Joe Schwartz
As cool as Storm Runner is, it's really not worth a wait of more than a half-hour when other rides in the park are twice as long, or even longer, have less waiting time, and are just as fun. Storm Runner also has a tendency to have long periods of downtime, and might not even be open during your visit. - Mike Brilhart
A Perfect ride! You dont have to wait till GO! to experince the lauch because right at the WE it launches. the heartline twist and the flying snake diver were the most amazing elements at the park! A MUST-RIDE! - Dakota S
Compared to other coasters like this (Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster) Storm Runner is quite overlooked. it actually wouldn't be far-fetched to say this is better than both because of the inversions are unlike any other. Coaster fans should not miss this. - Derrick O. Foreman
