Daredevil Dive

Drop ride

Description

Step on a platform, put on a special suit (alone or with a few others), and ascend 120 feet in the air. Next, get strapped to a ripcord, and experience the feeling of hang gliding, bungee jumping, and skydiving combined together. There will be an additional fee to this, if you can handle it.

I am not impressed at all with SFGA's version of the "Daredevil Dive". I have been on many versions of this ride, including SFGA, and the version here is the smallest. If you have never been on a similar ride, I suppose this could be a novelty, but considering other parks Like PKI offer a bigger version at the same price, I would opt to wait and get on the taller more intense version. To me this seemed watered down. (please note that I AM an adrenaline junkie and I have jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet with a tandem instructor, so my views may be biased). Regardless of that, I wish this was the 200+ ft ride I have found elsewhere instead of the 140 ft. ride here. - James Csonka

This ride is awesome! Not for the faint of heart, it is very scary, especially the buildup for the dive. Good for thrillseekers that want more than the rollercoasters. The cost is well worth it! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! - Anthony Murphy
