About Superman The Escape

Your escape starts in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, where a 15-passenger vehicle carries you through a special-effects tunnel, then accelerates to 100 mph in seven seconds before shooting straight up a 41-story tower.

I was sooo scared to go on this because i hate freefall rides. but it didnt even feel like a free fall ride. it wasnt even scary actually, it was just fun. It looks a lot worse than it actually is. I really like this ride now =) - Chloe !

Really fun ride. Worth going on if the wait is less than 20 minutes. Also, doesn't actually go 100 mph anymore, park runs it at approx 90 mph to save money on electricity. - Josh Bishop

good ride if the lines aren't that long but still fun 7/10 - Michael Brunson

7/10m it was pretty dang good!!! Ive been on better free-fall rides but you know. I would like it alot more, cause its an amazing ride, if they ran both sides, cause the capacity sucks, and if it shot you through, like 3 times or something. Cause its too short! - Corey Nelson

This ride is too short for me. It is like you are off the ride before you know it. - Sarah Meeks

A few of us were terrified waiting in line for this, it looks so high and scary! But in reality, its really not that bad, it last like a few seconds and you can't even really tell how high you are. We exited the ride saying "that was it?" Still a good ride nonetheless. - Kitty Kat

9/10 The story doesn't really fit the theme of samurai mountain, but is still a good story. The setting is that bad guys invaded super man's lair and you have to escape in rocket cars. Anyway you shoot up really high at 100 mph and fall all the way back down. I went on it with my dad and we loved it. - Jack Borgeson

11 times in a row! Thats how long it took me to convince all my friends to go on the ride. Wow that was intense. - Sam C

Superman The Escape is okay, but is really more impressive to look at. When you are on the ride, you cannot tell how high up you are unless you turn around and look behind you. Only worth about a ten minute wait, although the line is usually longer due to the low capacity. - AJ Hummel

Better than Free-fall, but that's not saying much. I prefer Hollywood Tower of Terror over this as Superman the Escape is too short and over before you know it. The only way my friends and I made it fun about five years ago was releasing paper helicopters and airplanes from the apex of this ride. The best part was when we saw the helicopters still twirling down as we were going to another ride. - Brandon Mendoza

I rode in December and that was alright. The ride is very short, but very intense. The speed is pretty incredible. The thing I do not like about the ride is the roar that comes underneath it. - Guido Climer

ot worth more then a 20 min wait - Geordie Bain

You LAUNCH out of that station SO fast. In a few seconds you'll just be sitting there a little bored. Then you start going up vertical. It's weird at first but you don't have time to think because you have 6 seconds of Zero Gravity! Your basically flying. I was having too much fun to look where the lap bar went because your definately not attached to it! - David White

Awesome ride - Jason Kelly
