Tidal Wave Is a great ride, and did wonders for Thorpe Park, letting people know that tussauds had arrived. One thing that really makes a difference to my ride enjoyment is how it is presented. Like Nemesis at Alton Towers, Tidal Wave really excells in this area. In fact a whole new land (Amity Cove) was developed to house Tidal Wave. The ride Itself Is short, but very sweet. After being hauled up the chain to 85 feet you are left to freefall down again, and Into the resulting tidal wave. When you ride, at the bottom all you can see Is a wall of water, and your heart races because you know where that wall Is heading!! - craig jewson
