A coaster-like water slide attraction with three distinct slides, Banana Blaster, Coconut Crusher and Pineapple Plunger.
Going uphill on a slide, excellent! - Jeff Krinock
The Crush 'n' Gusher was a unique experience for me. I had never been on a "water coaster", so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I love thrill rides, but my expectations for thrills on this particular one were not extremely high. This negative feeling was heightened by the fact that I had spent three days at Universal riding Hulk, Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, and the Dragon Challenge constantly. I mean how could the thrills of a "water coaster" compare to that? Well in fact it holds up extremely, extremely well. The Crush 'n' Gusher consists of three different slides with small, but steep drops. The fact that you are lying down on a raft zipping through the ride, gives the illusion that you are going faster than you really are. Even though you are extremely safe on the ride, as long you follow the instructions, there is the added thrill of feeling you are going to flip out of the raft. While it is thrilling, it is also very pleasant as well. There is something relaxing about zipping through a water slide while lying down on a raft. The ride finishes off with a nice dump out of the slide into the pool. This is definitely one of Typhoon Lagoon's best attractions. 9 out of 10. - Joshua Bixler
Great sensation. A water ride coaster. - Rob Pastor
I gave Crush 'n' Gusher a 10/10, amazing slide this is. The shoot the chutes shoot you down a fun drop and at high speeds, went on it 4 times, once on all 3 of the different ones, then twice on Pineapple. - Nick Dakuginow
