Batman Adventure: The Ride 2 will close permanently on the 14th October 2011.

This is a themed motion simulator ride through the streets of Gotham City, where you help Batman and Batgirl in their quest to defeat the villainous joker, Catwoman and the evil Mr. Freeze to retrieve the Whitney Diamond.

This ride is in need of a major overhaul. Batman Adventure feels outdated and the pre-show rooms are plagued with mechanical issues. As well as this a lot of paint is scraped off the walls of the "bat cave", an elaborate set piece which is in need of a makeover. With the ride closing permanently it remains to be seen if it will return at Batman Adventure: the ride 3
