I am a Professor of Marketing at Coastal Carolina University. We have a very important Resort Tourism Management program here at Coastal. Amusements such as theme parks are an important part of our tourism mix, including Family Kingdom, NASCAR Speed Park, Freestyle Music Park (formerly known as Hard Rock Park), and the legendary but now gone beach-front Pavilion.
