Lego partners with a non-merlin property

Dreamworld, owned by Ardent Leasure (who own the "main event" chain in the US), will become the home of Australia's first Lego store, with access to the park from inside and out.

This strikes me as a bit unusual - Merlin is the usual theme park partner for Lego, and Merlin do have some properties in Australia - although these are generally smaller attractions, and definitely not theme parks.

No talk of any rides, just the shop.

If it's just the shop, how is it different to the Lego shops in Downtown Disney?
