The Rocking Boat looks like how I'd imagine Jaws should have worked. I can see some interesting concepts coming from that.
As for the Power Loop... I dunno how I feel about that one. Part of me wants to say "Well, why not?", the other part says "They spent so long wondering if they could, they didn't consider whether or not they should"
