So just saw how the Oak Brook shopping center (which is only about 15 minutes away from my home) is opening one of those Sony "Wonderverse" indoor "theme park."
Per the articles on it from Chicago news spots: "The 45,000 square-foot indoor space will host “a hybrid of physical and immersive multi-media experiences, interactive installations, dynamic attractions, and themed dining experiences,” Sony said, from escape rooms and virtual reality and racing simulations to bumper cars.
Highlights include Uncharted: The Pursuit; Ghostbusters Virtual Reality Academy: Pacific Playland; Zombieland Bumper Cars; Jumanji: Reverse The Curse; Bad Boys Racing Club; The Ghost Trap; and 21 Jump Street Pop-Up Bar."
Interesting as soft openings in December and full in January. This may be worth a trip as so close to me so might be giving a bigger report on it.
