Disneyland 2025 trip report

Edited: May 10, 2025, 11:32 PM

A quick report on nice week long stay my family had for Disneyland. We got in Monday the 5th, checked into Disneyland hotel at the Discovery Tower Villas. Very nice rooms, large for us (my, my parents, my sister, her husband and six-year old), and a good early dinner at the Palm Beach Bar. Also checked out the Villains Lounge, which is nice.

My sister had a "Perfect" trip planned but issues popped up from her feeling sick to cut into "rope drop to close" ideas. However, we had a benefit in my mom needing a wheelchair to get around for back/leg issues and my own DAS pass for anxiety issues to cut down on wait times.

Also, gate system at the parks is much easier, no turnstiles, just scan ticket off app/magic band and photo and in.

However, my sister still bugged at missing half a day that she went ahead and bought an extra ticket to our three day parkhoppers to squeeze in more rides. Friday was the trickiest as hotter than expected, close to 90 so she decided better for our parents and herself to avoid afternoon heat and go later.

So she sadly missed a couple rides she wanted to go on. Also she was bugged that It's a Small World was supposed to open on Friday but pushed back. And my dad (not as big a Disney fan) got pool time but no big family meal.

But in the end? It was still great. We got on rides we missed on 2023 trip from Indiana Jones to Roger Rabbit, the Disney vibe great and she saw her son first time on Big Thunder, Guardians and others. And Tiana was a fun changeover so overall, a great trip to remember.

YEah, we all agree that going for a "Perfect" Disney trip never works but this was still a wonderful time
