I'll be heading to Six Flags America to put together a report for the main Theme Park Insider site next week. Is there anything, obvious or not, that you'd like to know or see documented about this soon to be defunct park? Let me know and I'll do my best to capture it!
FYI - The word is that Batwing's lift went out last weekend, so hopefully you weren't planning your trip to ride the last Vekoma Flying Dutchman. It sounds like it might be one of those situations where it's not worth the expense to get the coaster back up and running in a park that is closing at the end of the year.
My biggest recommendation when visiting SFA is it can be a decent experience if you go in with very low expectations. I've been really busy this spring, so I actually haven't had a chance to visit my "home" park yet this year, but hope to get over to the park in the next week or 2.
I'm curious on the vibe check. How are the ride ops/other employees holding up? How about the guests? Are people sad, upset, or indifferent?

I just imagine that we’re all Michael Scott trying to contain our scorn in front of Holly during Toby’s exit interview when we simply ask “what gives you the right?”
But that’s more a question for the company brass than a specific query about the park. So I think I’m good there. Thanks though @Jacob. Looking forward to the report.
