Parking Lot Time Wars:
So we always rent a car on vacation therefore we have to park in a huge garage with many others.
But I always want to outdo the other cars.
Let me explain: We all get navigated by attendees to the next spot. But I look around and I want to outdo the others cars, I want our car to be one of the last in that area.
When we return to the car and our legs are tired, pockets empty, I want the car to be lonely.
Do you also try to overdo your park visit?
Win the Parking Lot war....

If it's open parking, I usually try to position my car in the easiest place to get out of the lot/garage. However, if you're being directed to a specific spot, you should ALWAYS follow the direction of the attendants. If everyone decided to do their own thing, it impacts everyone and reduces the efficiency of the garage/lot and staff spending time trying to optimize parking spaces. If you are trying to game the system to get a better exit from the lot/garage, YOU are the reason why there's a line for people behind you trying to get parked - accept your fate or stay home.
