I know this has been a topic time and time again. But I was wondering if anyone had heard anymore news about Lord of the rings coming to Orlando. I only ask because I heard a rumour today from a friend who has just returned who was told by a hotel staff that they've heard it has now been green lit

I doubt the Tolkien estate will allow the theme park license without first resolving royalties from the movies. It will be more than a decade away.

Staff always spread rumors. Once actual permits are drawn up or a deal is announced then that's when it can be called green lit.
