One area of the Disney model that has the potential to benefit greatly from expansion plans at Walt Disney World is the Disney Vacation Club. As potential consumers are presented with information regarding aggressive expansions at multiple parks, interest in DVC ownership will certainly grow. And, of course, as the number of subscribers increase, sustaining (or increasing) park attendance levels becomes less challenging.
More DVC rooms coming on-line benefits the outside timeshare owners who can trade more easily for DVC equivalent suites, thus keeping their own costs down and making their vacations cheaper per trip. It is quite easy to get Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resorts. Not so easy to get Animal Kingdom and Boardwalk. Impossible to get Bay Tower. Of course, higher demand from Star Wars and Avatar will restrict such listings if DVC owners use their allotment or Disney decides to sell them as hotel rooms on the open market.

Also add into the mix the massive expansion of Disney Springs. The exceptional quality of retail, restaurants and entertainment will also be a draw for potential DVC guests.
