Splitsville offers fun and food while wearing someone else's shoes
Splitsville is the newest tenant at WDW's Downtown Disney, and it aims to take bowling to a new level -- two levels, actually. It's a bowling themed restaurant with 30 alleys spread over two floors in the former Virgin Megastore space near the Cirque du Soleil theater. Here's a review of the experience and the food.

Scott, I took a course in bowling in college, too. It was combined with archery, at which I had no skills. I was already a good bowler, but took the course so I could learn how to keep score, in the days before automatic scoring machines became ubiquitous. And I love me a good plate of fish 'n' chips, but that sounds bad...
Eh, I will try it! It looks pretty nice!
There is a bowling alley/eatery that opened not too far from me. They have good food so my expectations are high. I also think they are trying to make the West side more Teen/Young Adult friendly. I feel this is a good step.
CMs get discount (I belive 20%) including booze if you go before 5 PM (weekends). Employees are very nice. Place is always busy. It also offers a great walk-in activity at the west end of DTD.
It's going to do VERY well.
What do you mean by the title? "wearing someone else's shoes'" Who is doing that?
Rented bowling shoes. They belong to someone else.
I have my own :)

I ate there the Saturday of Marathon Weekend(1/12). Downtown Disney was packed. I have never seen so many people there at one time. The wait for Splitsville was 30 -40 minutes. Luckily we found seats at the bar on the 1st level. There was also a football game playing which added to the crowd. They had an OK selection of draft beer. It came in a giant goblet type glass. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. As for the food... We had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Chicken Ceasar Salad. The salad was good. The Sandwich tasted good but it came on the cool side. French fries were fair. I don't know if it was because they were so crowded, or because it was only open for less than a month or a combo of both. But the food sat somewhere for awhile. Hopefully they'll work out the kinks because it's a fun place to eat.
