Orlando theme parks in the rain
Are there any theme parks which are particularly good or bad to visit in the rain?
I'm going with the GF on a week-long tour of Orlando theme parks next week. The weather.com forecast is predicting "Isolated T-Storms" for Tuesday and Wednesday and then "Scattered Showers" for Thursday. Are there any parks which are particularly good or bad to visit in the rain? We have a packed week planned (visiting all Disney and Universal parks plus Sea World) so taking a day off is not an option.

This is Florida. There is always a chance for rain, and "scattered thunderstorms" are the norm. The best thing to do is just to go. Each park you named has both indoor attractions and outdoor attractions, though IOA is mostly outdoor and when the winds go over 30 mph I believe, they shut down the coasters, and Dr. Doom.
Thats a good question!
On the Disney side, I would say EPCOT would be the best park to go to while it is raining since a majority of it is indoors. It usually rains every day in Flordia so with any hope, I won't be raining all day that you are there!
I would say Epcot or Universal Studios. Most of the attractions are indoors. The hard part is getting from one to the next. The best part is the rain scares the rookies away and the park is virtually empty. Take panchos and umbrellas and there shouldn't be a problem! Have fun!!
What do you think about MGM?
If I remember right, the only things that close in the rain is Fantasmic and Indiana Jones. That (like Universal Studios) would be a good place too!
Also, to answer your other part of the question, Seaworld is really really cool, but it would be really a pain if it rained all day. Try going on a day that you know that it won't rain that much
DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK IN THE RAIN: ANIMAL KINGDOM

Again, trying to predict rain in Florida is like trying to predict snow in Buffalo. You know its going to happen, just exactly when and where is beyond anyones control. This is getting to be a rainy season, so just take an umbrella and go have fun. Dont worry about rain, and get a park hopper at disney so if you do get some rain you can run to another park.
MGM, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom are all fine in the rain. I went to Florida 2 months ago, and I remember it raining a little more than half of the time, but it was typically for only a few hours, and nice.
Animal Kingdom has only 1 fully indoor ride(Dinosaur). So, if it rains, wait til it at least stops to go to Animal Kingdom.
