Can ANYONE advise of where I can get discounted tickets for the Orlando, FL area attractions (i.e. Disney, Sea World, Epcot, Busch Gardens, etc.). We are two families traveling together with 4 adults & 6 children. Tickets are SSSOOOO expensive. Thanks

Well....there are plenty of places on International Drive that offer hugely discounted and sometimes free tickets for all the major attractions. BUT, those are timeshare offers. The deal is...you go to their timeshare presentation, usually 90+ minutes and they give you the discounted/free tickets. BEWARE!!!! Most of these presentations are a pain the ass, and a lot of them practically harass you to buy some timeshare. But, you can always say no and be on your way. The whole enchilida will take about half of your day, so if you are pressed for time then DO NOT do it!

Another way to get somewhat of a discount is to go online. Sometimes when you buy online, especially for Universal Studios, the prices are cheaper than if you buy them at the gate. Unless you know someone that can get onto a military base or has PX/Navy exchange privileges that can get the tickets thru ITT/MWR. I dont know any other options you have. Go online and do some research, maybe you'll find something else. Good luck....

At least for the Disney tickets you can buy them at the Disney Store (if there are any around you)

Like said before, beware of International Drive Ticket Vendors. Their tickets might not be good! My best advice would be to buy them online, the Disney Store or when you get to the parks. You will know they are good then.

Also, the more days you buy, the cheaper it will be. I also think Unversal has got a deal going on right now!

If you belong to AAA, they offer discounts on some tickets (not much, but better than nothing, I guess). Universal usually offers discounted tickets so check their website. Stay away from offers that seem too good to be true because they usually are. Good luck

You can always try a tour operator located around I-Drive, like American Holidays (Irish Tour op) They are available at 8324 International Drive Tue, Fri and Sat mornings. They offer cheaper than gate price tickets and are fully legitimate. Also try Thomas Cook, who have an office by the Enclave Suites, just off I-Drive, of Virgin Holidays have rep meetings most mornings on I-Drive in the hotel with the Dollar car rental office (Can't remember the hotel name).

All of them offer the discounts as they are legit re-sellers. And you don't need to book a vacatioon with them as they are commission based so the more they sell the better!

I just got a pop-up from Universal advertising their current promotion: unlimited access to both themeparks and City Walk for a week for $85.99. The catch is you have to order the tickets in advance since it's not being offered at the front gates, but that's an incredible deal. If you go to their website and click on Hot Deals, you'll see the promo.

You see the latest deal? $60 for 3 days to IOA and Universal, valid within 6 months I think.

Onjly thing is you supposedly need to be a FLA resident, but enter a Zip Code, like 32819 (Universals ZIP) and thats enough, oh, you have to order on line.... Extra charge of 99c per ticket for email delivery (Con)

if you are not a florida resident, then dont try to pass off as one... i have personally seen a family that did that and when they went to use their tickets at the gate they got asked for their FL ID's, no joke, needless to say they weren't allowed in at that time. Some people are just really buttholes and check for that kind of stupid thing. Better safe than sorry.

Maybe Disney, but Universals staff are just so plain dumb at the moment (Bad incident today) that they wouldn't even bother to check. Also, as you order on-line and pick up electronically (Machines) the only people who would check are the gate staff.

Disney on the other hand, very on the ball!

There is nothing wrong with the international drive vendors that are selling the cheap tickets to disney. You people do not understand why they are so cheap or free and that is why you think they are a scam. They are free or highly discounted because you have to take a time share tour at a resort. If you think about it...that really turns out to be cheap advertising for the resorts. I've done a time share like that before here in FL...it's legit..I've gotten my tickets no problem. If you have any concern about a vendor...just make sure that you go to a vendor that has there own building...not just someone that popped up a tent and could be gone in 30 minutes. There are so many of them...forget about the highly discounted tickets....go for the ones that offer the FREE tickets...and there are lots of them that do. The only catch besides having to do the timeshare tour, is that you pay 20 dollars cash in advance to reserve your spot. (you usually get free breakfast or lunch with your tour) The 20 dollars you get a full refund on if you show up for the tour, plus your tickets. If you do not show up for the tour then you lose out on your 20 dollars cash. You get signed receipts, etc. when you sign up for this. Be skeptical all you want, but if you have the time to do this, then go for it, if you do not have the time to do it....or just like spending more money for the same ticket then by all means buy your tickets at the front gate to disney.

All Disney Vendors need to have a seal saying they are licensed vendors (no kidding) on the window or in the store. I am guessing Universal does that too!
