The Lazy river that goes around the park is broken into the worlds famous rivers. Amazon, you go through the jungles, large foam anacondas in the water anchored to the floor so they look like there moving with the current. Nile section you come upon the pyramid slides that go in and out of the pyramid. Next your on the Mississippi going past the old southern farm houses as well as a New Orleans area where there are restaurants. You see a big river boat that you can explore and ride the inner tube slides exit form different locations on the boat. Other Rides in the park are a scaled replica of Niagara Falls where there are speed slides that take you down the face of the falls. Amazon kids area where kids can play in the jungles and explore the Mayan ruins.
It is based on the layout of Typhoon lagoon but larger and also provides a good geography lesson.

My idea, though, came to me recently when I was in the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. There were about 6 people in the whole theater. I remember when it was a top attraction and now no one cares. I started to think about how Disney could re-do the attraction from the ground up to make people care about it again. I would want to retain the basic character of the show while changing the specifics entirely. I haven't exactly mapped out the whole thing, but here's what I have so far.
First, the attraction would become a 3D movie presented in a theater with full special effects capabilities (often referred to as 4D movies). The birds and flowers would still be the stars of the show but they would be rendered in the movie using state of the art technology combining live-action film with animation designed to enhance the colors and beauty of what is already there as well as to allow the flower and birds to speak realistically. With parrots, toucans, and other birds as well as the most gorgeous tropical flowers in the world, this could be a visual feast. Smells could be used such as the ocean, floral scents, probably pineapple or other fruits... depending what is on screen at the time.
I don't have a full story for the show, but at least one of the classic songs should be kept and probably the idea that there is a celebration going on in the Tiki Room. Though the "Room" in the movie could be more open, just some columns supporting a thatched roof. After a while, the Tiki gods would become angry but this time it won't be some totem poles chanting, in the movie there could be a giant stone god calling down lighting and stomping the ground... and you will feel it shaking the ground and your seat.
That's the basic idea... I love the music and the ride is such a classic but I'm resigned to the fact that it will never again be a big draw in the park. Not as it is now. Would love to hear what people think of the idea. I realize it will probably never happen but the submarines were dead and gone and they came back so you never know!

My idea is that you sit in a cart that looks like a sleigh, which is suspended from the track above you. The cart could swing freely from side to side, like a suspended coaster. The ride would sort of be a combination dark ride and roller coaster. Everything would be set at night time, so that you cant see the track.
You start off flying over Halloween Town. Animatronic people are performing "This is Halloween" below you. Maybe there are a couple of drops timed with the music.
Afterwards, you proceed to the woods, where you see Jack singing on the hill that you see on the cover of the DVD. Then you turn around, and fly overtop the trees with the entrances to the different holiday worlds. You see Jack standing there. Then, you make a sudden, steep drop through the trees, and fly through one of the doors into the Christmas town. The song "Whats This?" is being sung by Jack as you fly around. Soon you exit, and the carts slow down again.
You go back into halloween town and pass by Jacks house where you see him trying to figure out christmas. Then you go up a hill, and you see the triplets singing "Kidnap the Sandy Claws".
Then, after making a steep drop down the hill, you find your self back in halloween town briefly, where they are getting everything together for christmas. You then turn behind a building and are plunged into complete darkness for a minute, and a short roller coaster section begins, completely in the dark. After that you exit to find yourself back in the area with the trees leading to the different towns.
In the front of your sleigh, an animatronic Jack has appeared, in his santa costume. This element of the cart would have been hidden inside the cart, and then comes up out of it during the dark portion. Jack maybe says something to you, and then you are launched at 70MPH into the christmas town. The rest of the ride is basically a roller coaster over the christmas town. This would be the most intense part.
After about a minute of this, you make a steep drop towards a chimney. You fall through the chimney into darkness. The cart then slows down once again, a lit up sign in Nightmare Before Christmas font says "The End", and you turn back into the station.
This would all be indoors, of course, and it would have to take up a fair amount of room. Maybe most of it could be underground, so that it doesnt take up as much space.
Anyway, thats my idea.

The next idea would be for the Grizzly Peak section of California Adventure. Instead of a ranger station playground, why not build an abandoned mine coaster themed to the Sierra Nevadas? You could have all kinds of authentic props and skeletons of dead miners, as well as a new "weenie," as the imagineers call it, to attract visitors into the park. The mountain could be tall and seen from the park entrance, and I'm sure some curious thrill junkies will want a piece of that. It would make the area have two E-tickets to offer. In one corner, the whitewater rafting expedition, and in the other corner, the runaway mine cart adventure. I think it would make an awesome ride.
But what does anyone else think?

We start off in a Monster Inc. Museum, thats the queue. We see the history of the company providing power to Monstropolis. We have interactive elements like the kid popping out of bed, screens that show us what it used to be like, and what advances there have been. We see little glimpses of Randall in and out of the walls. We think we see something, then it fades away. Just before we go into the Laugh Floor for a tour, we see the spiderguy (cant remember his name) and he starts talking about how the world needs scares. He wants to take the company back, and enlists Randall, and you, to help him take the company back by retrieving something from the Human world. Half of the line then gets split into another queue and here we see exhibits on how the world is worse off without scares. We see on the other side how the world is better without scares.
We then get into our doors, on both sides, and are preparing to go to the docking station. Then we hear on the good side "They are about to go through the door and turn everything back" on the bad side "Now's our chance, lets get to that door". The cars are actually inverted coasters with three rows of three on either side of a door (18 passengers per car). We go up a traditional lift hill where see images of the other world. On the bad side we see laughter, on the good side we see scaring as we pass different open doors. Then the chase begins, we go through several dips and turns, slipping between rows of doors, and coming close to hitting each other in near miss turns. No inversions, and this wont be super scary. Part of it will be in the dark then we will both race for the door to the human world as we go screaming out of the building and over the park...much like the old sky ride did, only fast.
We then end it by going into seperate rooms and seeing that the other side succeeded...or change it out like MIB does...one time the other side wins, the next you win.

I would say a Fantasia roller coaster. I would always like to see a roller coaster set to music. I think it would actually be quite an accompishment!

Huch Back which was at the Studios was a great show..how ever most parents found it to dark in content for kids..
new Idea move the many adventure of Winnie the Pooh to Epcot also...Most all the countrys in World Showcase were to have ride attractions in them...but never happened..except Norway and Mexico, and America.
Magic Kingdom holds it own based on everything it now offers..Epcot needs the most help with attractions..And as far as Future World ..forget it..over the years distroyed ..It was about science and tecnology..And what does Test track and Mission Space have to do with any of that?
So if I was an Imagineer..Id go back to Walts plans and ideas..and for once stick with it...The man was amazing and creative..Honor him and his dreams..Maybe then 71.oo bucks would be worth it...

Grand Prix has large operating expenses. The cars are antiquated and noisy. There are maintenance and fuel costs.
The themed "spray ground" would offer shade and water (to cool off). It would dissipate the crowd by expanding guest areas. What's more guests would not have to stand in line to enjoy the area. While slides and other appratus may require lines, kids can run around some areas without having to wait.

It'd have GPS technology so when you look at the electronic map, you could see where you were in the park, exactly, and could also tell you information like what lines are the shortest at the moment and which live shows are starting soon. Along with that info could be average wait times during the days, so you know not to go for a certain ride at a certain time.
In addition to it being a high-tech map, it'd have games to keep you and your group occupied in line... trivia games, build-a-disney-character, ride-throughs of rides no longer in service, expanded back-story of the ride you're waiting for.
Also, you'd be able to reserve a place in one of the restaurants, view the menus, maybe even place an order before you even get there.
It'd have information on whether or not a ride is broken down, so you won't have to walk across the entire park just to find out the bad news, but you can also set it to alert you when the ride is back open.

There is Pal Mickey which is very similar to that!
Anyway, I would like to see Soarin moved to where Millenium Village used to be and be Soarin over the World (Big Ben, The Great Wall of China, etc). I think it would tie in better and I miss Food Rocks
Greece Pavilion (where Millenium Village was)
The Incredables (exactly the same as Spiderman, but made before Spiderman)- Bomb Voyage, Syndrome, the Underminer? It could work!
Its not a new idea, but they should put Alice's Curious Labyrinth where Pooh's Playground is. Its from DLP and its basically a hedge maze with a few primative animatronics that jump up. I think it would be really cool and if they can do it in France, they can do it in FL!
