Me and my wife has never been in a coaster ride, we are over 35. We are visiting the 4 disney's parks in june and was looking for the best way to enjoy these parks, in theme park insider i found interesting 4 hours tours but most of them seem to be designed by a coasters lover, I'm not sure if my wife and I will enjoy or sufer in a coaster.

My question is if having ride our first coaster we feel that that isn't our idea of fun wich is the best alternative to find the best atractions in each park?

Thanks

Well, here is the roller coasters that need fastpasses at most times:

Space Mountain (MK)
Rockin Roller Coaster (DHS)
Everest (sometimes) (AK)

Thunder Mountain does not need a fastpass most of the time!

MK: Remember, the park is open for long hours so you can pace yourself there. Usually the best time to go is right at open, during the parades, or during the fireworks

AK: Anytime is a good time for Everest, but try to go on Kilmanjaro Safaris ASAP because the Animals are usually more active in the morning. Plan accordingly to see the fantastic shows.

DHS: Go to Rockin Roller Coaster and pick up fastpasses and wait in line for the Tower of Terror

I wouldn't worry, Igor. There is so much to do in all the parks, you won't get bored. If you go to Hollywood Studios, you must try Tower of Terror. Mission Space, Soarin and Test Track at Epcot are great fun. If you go to Animal Kingdom, do try the Kilimanjaro safari - best in the morning! Dinosaur is also v good. Magic Kingdom isn't known for its coasters, so you'll have plenty of choice there. I definitely recommend Pirates of the Carribean. All the shows are a lot of fun, you won't be stuck for choice! Hope you have a great time!!

You don't have to like Roller Coasters to enjoy the 4 Disney Parks. I would however at least try 1 or 2 Disney Coasters to see if you may like them. The coaster with the least amount of drops and does not have any inversions or go upside down is Magic Kingdom's Thunder Mountain Railroad. It is very tame but has some nice special effects. If you like that coaster then be sure to try Space Mountain. This is probably Magic Kingdom's signature ride. It also has no inversions and does not go upside down. Max speed is about 35 MPH. It is in the dark but you can see star and asteroids and you sit single file in 6 man spaceships (2 ships connected). If you have tolerated both of them then step up to Everest at Animal Kingdom-faster, taller and scarier yet no inversions and also does not go upside down. Lastly, Rock n Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studious has the most thrill - fast and goes upside down and it all inside. Its fun and fast. Good luck and have fun!

You should probably ride Goofy's Barnstormer before Thunder Mountain. Goofy's Barnstormer is rather mild and smooth but can get a very long line. IF it does, skip and ride Thunder Mountain like mentioned above. Other thrilling rides that might be a step include Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean(tho one small drop), Star Tours, Maelstrom, Test Track, and Soarin'. After the Barnstormer, Thunder Mt., and Space Mt., you might consider Dinosaur, Tower of Terror, and Mission Space before you ride Rock 'n' Roller or Everest.

Igor. I was 39 before I rode a coaster.
I suffer from motion sickness, have high blood pressure and back problems.
I ride all but the very big coasters(Hulk is about my top level although I have been on Dueling Dragons).
You should definitely make Big Thunder Mountain your first stop. It has just the right blend of excitement without being "scary". It's not slow but isn't a real thrill seekers' ride. It's great fun and I reckon once you've ridden it you'll feel far more confident about trying other things.
Splash Mountain is another great one to get you started. Yes it does have a big drop at the end but it's such a gentle joy passing through the mountain with Brer Rabbit and all his friends. The drop itself does seem fast and steep the first time but , again, once you conquer that you'll never look back. Immerse yourself in the theming and the songs and you'll gain confidence from those too.
Goofy's Barnstormer, as someone else already suggested, is an even gentler introduction too.

Best of luck and have a great time.Remember it's not all about coasters or rides anyway. Friends of mine go for the atmosphere and the shows and parades. That's the beauty of it. YOU do what YOU want.

( By the way I must confess that the first time I rode a coaster I took a travel sick pill as I was worried. But it worked.)
