Halloween Horror Nights 21
Universal Orlando: I'm getting pumped up for my annual trip to Universal Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights and I hadn't noticed any love on the site so far for this years event!

I have been going to Halloween Horror Nights for the past 7 years and I can't wait to make trip number 8. I have been ridiculously addicted to the HHN website and the games of chance that are included in the site. It appears that Universal is playing off the fact that this year is the 21st year they have been running the event and have themed it to gambling/games of chance. I was wondering if anyone else has been playing these games and if they are planning on attending the event. If you have never been, I truly recommend the trip. Universal is the standard to which I hold all other Halloween related attractions. I can't wait to hear back from you all!!
I've played ( and beat ) all the games. I am excited for this year; it seems like it's going to be a totally new experience.
I will be there at least once, I'm just not sure when yet.
Hotel reservations are already made. Cant wait.
Totally psyched for our 13th HHN run!!! Haven't played the game yet...need to check it out pronto.
Don't worry, it will be covered pretty fully!

Oh I have NO doubt that Robert and the team at TPI will be fully covering the event, I just am starting to get that itch since I can see my trip on the horizon and I needed a place to get it off my chest - haha. I have beat all the games so far and I'm waiting for them to update again so I can add to my house of cards!!

I'm gonna be down there from October 17-24. I cannot wait! Universal should be officially opening the site with the house descriptions in the next few weeks!!

I'm going to Universal from 9/20/11 to 9/27/11. The opening weekeng of HHN 21 will be during that time. I'm going to be taking my 11 year old nephew and was wondering if HHN would be to scary for him. I've never been to HHN but I'd really love to try it if my nephew could go. He's pretty fearless. He often shows me up on thrill rides. Any feedback would be appreciated!!! :)

Bob - the event is pretty intense and Universal has a warning on their website that it may be too intense for people under 13. Having said that, if your nephew is fearless and enjoys a good scare then he should be ok. I have seen plenty of kids his age and younger enjoying themselves over the years. If he is mature enough to know it's all fake than he should do just fine. I hope that helps. I'd be happy to give any additional advice or answer any questions you would have. Feel free to ask!

Thanks for the info Eric! I think I'll play it by ear and see how my nephew handles the first few days at the parks. Does anyone know if there is still a haunted house in Old Town? Maybe we could go there to see how reacts to it first. He is great with thrill rides but I have no idea with about a haunted house. He loves Halloween and scary stuff, but who knows!?
Two images of the icon have been released. One was by "accident" at Burger Kings across Florida, and the other is supposedly a screenshot of the commercial, which was given by anonymous inside source. She looks like she has the potential to be an insidious and sadistic icon.
Commercial leaked on Youtube. Lady Luck feels like a female Jack.
