Less Disney Dining options?

Walt Disney World: No more Mexico, Japan, China and Downtown on the Dsiney Dining plan?

My family is headed back to WDW in May, after visiting on site last May for the first time. It seems that nearly half the included restaurant options in Epcot and Downtown Disney are no longer available. I was wondering why?

Those are the ones run by outside companies. I believe that they always get added to the dining plan closer to January. The brochures they've got for the 2013 dining plan now most likely just have what Disney 100% knows will be on the plan and they will add the rest in as they 're-sign' or whatever you want to call it. At least this is how it usually works. It's possible they won't get added back but unlikely.

You need to reference the official annual dining plan guide to see what is included. For example, this is the 2012 Dining Plan guide.

There will be a similar guide published in 2013.
