A wonderful hotel, with excellent service, though not as close to the parks as the Hard Rock and Royal Pacific. But the delightful boat ride makes that not at all an issue.

What an amazing hotel!!! It reminded me of a mash up of the Venetian and Belagio on a slightly smaller scale. We had a 2-queen deluxe room with a patio facing one of the smaller pools. The room was about 50 yards from the main pool (with a really good water slide) and about 100 yards from the Harbor dock. The overall design is rustic Italy to perfection, and you could wander some of the corridors and grounds for an hour or more. The boat service to CityWalk was efficient and more frequent than I had expected, and the walk was just a little further than Royal Pacific (probably same distance to USF from both resorts).

I probably wouldn't pay the inflated rates to stay here over Hard Rock or Royal Pacific (usually $50 more than HRH and $100 more than RPR), but if this is supposed to be on par with Disney's Grand Floridian, it's neck and neck with the most prestigious resort at WDW.
