You don't have to pay to get into the parks to meet a princess at Disney World anymore

Want to meet a Disney princess, but don't want to pay for a ticket to a Disney theme park to do it?

Starting Saturday, fans of the Disney princesses can meet one of the royal celebrities without having to get into a park first. Disney will be making selected princesses available for meet and greets at the World of Disney store in Walt Disney Worlds Disney Springs shopping and dining district.

Yes, that means free meet and greet!

Check-in is at World of Disney between 10am and 4pm daily October 1- November 1. This is essentially a "Fastpass"-only opportunity — cast members will be assigning return times to everyone who checks in to meet a princess. Let's go ahead and assume that they'll stop issuing return times at some point, when all the meet times are reserved for the day, so if you want to be sure of getting a time, get there early.

Disney Photopass will be available, but if you want to keep the experience completely free, Disney photographers are always happy to snap a photo with your own camera or cell phone.

Disney's calling this a limited time experience, so don't plan on getting the free meet and greets after Nov. 1.

Couldn't you go to a character breakfast?

A free Disney character breakfast? Anthony, what color is the sky in your Disney World? :*)

Well, the theory is that you would buy something while you are at Disney Springs.

Ok, never mind, that probably won't happen. Guests act in the strangest way sometimes.
