Disney and Succession

Any Succession fans here?

This week's episode was called "Living+" and revolved around a new real estate pitch from Waystar that sounded suspiciously like Storyliving by Disney. Just wondering if anyone else made that connection and what you thought about it.

FWIW, I think this week's episode also pretty much ended any chance that we will see Josh D'Amaro wearing anything that could be mistaken for a flight jacket at a press event ever again.

Oh yeah it immediately shot to mind for me that Disney is actually doing something like this. While part of me would love to live permanently at Disney’s Old Key West Resort as the home resort of my youth, the idea of living in a corporate gated community sounds just as gross in real life as it did in Succession.

Add today's news of Bob Iger's contract extension to the Waystar RoyCo/Disney comparison. At this rate, the next Disney CEO will be the puppet of a larger supranational tech behemoth (Apple?).
