Hersheypark is running its first coaster fan event next month, and you are invited.
The park has sent us a link and code for Theme Park Insider readers to purchase tickets to Hersheypark's coaster fans event on July 8. Tickets are $87.79 after tax and processing fee and include all-day admission to Hersheypark, two hours of admission the night before the event, a catered lunch, plus extended ride time on four of Hersheypark's coasters, including the new Wildcat's Revenge.
The event starts with one hour of ERT on Fahrenheit & Jolly Rancher Remix from 9am, before the park opens to the public at 10. Registration opens at 8am, but you must buy your tickets in advance and capacity is limited. Wristbands will be distributed at registration.
The lunch is from 1-3pm in Tidal Force Catering and includes hamburgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese, chips, watermelon and soft drinks. During the lunch, at 2pm, Hersheypark will host a Q&A session with the park's Director of Engineering about Wildcat's Revenge.
The next round of ERT happens after the park closes at 10pm. Participants must return to Tidal Force Catering before 10pm, or they will be swept out of the park. Once the park is clear of day guests, one hour of ERT begins for Wildcat's Revenge & Lightning Racer.
Annual passes will not get you admission to the ERT or the lunch, so you must buy the event ticket to participate in those. Note that if you have dietary restrictions, you can email hersheyparkgroups@hersheypa.com and the park's catering staff will make arrangements for you at the lunch.
