Mack spinning coaster tipped for Knott's Berry Farm in 20072006-11-18By Greg Shilton: Yay! I'm so excited to report that Knott's Berry Farm is obtaining a new roller coaster from Mack rides. This will be the first free spinner coaster by Mack, and is stated to open in 2007! I can't wait. The well-known coaster country USA will surprise through a new innovation next year. MACK Rides builds the first modern free spinning coaster with trains instead of single cars at Knottās Berry Farm to guarantee the requested, high capacity. A patent will give the truly new twist. Hey, thanks for Blog Flumming it! Yeah, Knott's is obviously doing well ever since Cedar Fair bought it. I'm sure it was doing good before, but now it seems to be on the list of "must see" parks ever since gained more attractions. Fun for the WHOLE family. Agree about Knott's: I was there on August 24 for the first time since 1986 and had a great time. (Silver Bullet is bliss, especially with its "above everything" location.) I'm wondering where this new ride will be installed. Maybe behind the Schulz Theatre or somewhere in that general area. From rafael g on November 21, 2006 at 2:24 AM
i was also wondering where they will be installing it??? i think it will be about the same as silver bullet or jaguar. meaning it will be above everything, and path aways underneath it. From Greg Shilton on November 21, 2006 at 10:10 AM
Theme park review has a ton of pictures of where it will be. I also have a pic of the layout. LINKS! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30922 Here is the layout http://www.screamscape.com/assets/images/db_images/db_IAAPA_Knotts_SpinningCoaster_art_6001.jpg In the first link I gave you, around page 2 there are pics of where it will be located. It's in camp snoopy-ish, and close to Silver Bullet. This article has been archived and is no longer accepting comments. |
