Universal Hollywood offers free tickets to park... and 'Today' show

By Robert Niles: NBC's 'Today' morning show is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood next week. The show will broadcast live from the NBC-owned theme park on Wednesday, January 17. Fans can view the show in person for free, and all who attend will get a free one-day admission ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood as well.

The catch?

Well, remember when I said the show is broadcasting *live*? And did you know that folks back in New York see the show at 7am? And that USH is in LA, three hours earlier than NYC?

That's right, you must be present at the USH front gate by 3:30 am to get in, see the show, and get your free USH ticket. The good news is that the USH ticket is good through December 31, 2007. So you can save it to visit USH on a later day... and go home after the show to sleep.

i have three kids 6.8 13 , and a wife , and me , can we get free tickets we are in saudi , in middle east

i don't see a reason why not, you should call u. studio hollywood if your in the middle east- and ask if you need to buy your tickets??, or try and be here 'at least' two hours before, due to many people who would want to go..(myself included) i live in hollywood, and visit the park weekly- and right now their are plenty of tourist still in hollywood and many will probably try to attend. but they may make accommodations for you especially if you stay at their hotel. good luck and hope you can make it.......welcome to hollywood :) ....>
everyone be well and have a great new year... cheers mates~ pete j* > p.s. glad magic mountain will stay open in 07'... if you come from the middle east you must not miss, but try to go to magic mountain too, the best coasters in the southland> ask the hotel for discounts at this time- i'm sure their is some specials to get us to the park during winter- which in the southland is still sunny and warm..

For the Today show taping, all you need do is show up at the Universal Studios Hollywood front gate by 3:30 am to get in. Presumably, the earlier you get there, the better spot you will get to see the Today show personalities up close.
