Vote of the week: What will be 2008's best new theme park attraction?2007-11-30By Robert Niles: We'll hand out an award for this next Fourth of July, but what's keeping us from speculating about the winner now? Nothing! So, which "new for 2008" attraction, of those listed below, do you anticipate being the best of the year? Note that I am not including anything from the Hard Rock Park in this one, since we'll be doing some separate votes for that new theme park. Want more information about these new attractions? See our What's New or Under Construction at Top Theme Parks for links. Discuss in the comments.

Because I spaced the non-U.S. parks? From Joshua Counsil on December 1, 2007 at 3:59 PM
Wow - not much love for Jungala, which I think has been the greatest effort put forth by any of the companies. There is nothing that incredible about new coasters, or a splash of paint on an old attraction. Where's Aquatica? That and Jungala almost make a spring trip to Orlando worthwhile. I voted for simpsons becuase out of those, I will only be going on simpsons and dark knight. From Chris Wilkes on December 3, 2007 at 6:22 AM
Isn't Toy Story Mania slated to open in 2008? From Mostly Anonymous on December 3, 2007 at 9:57 AM
I think the Simpsons ride will definitely get the most attention and riders. But as far as "best" goes, I had to vote for Legoland's new addition. Interactive dark rides are a load of fun. Plus I've been impressed with Legoland's attention to detail. From Logan Decker on December 4, 2007 at 4:30 AM
Fahrenheit will be a great coaster from what i've heard. It looks like it will be too, the elements in the ride will be fantastic. I think that this will be the best new ride/attraction for 2008! This article has been archived and is no longer accepting comments. |
