Another Walt Disney World layoff; this time at Food & Wine Festival

Published: March 27, 2009 at 2:17 PM

More news on layoffs at Walt Disney World, this one affecting the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Project manager Nora Carey, who oversaw the annual event as well as the Tables in Wonderland promotion, joins other F&B workers let go. Details at Scott Joseph's Orlando Restaurant Guide.

[Editor's note: I know we've linked to him before, but let's welcome Scott Joseph to Theme Park Insider, shall we? Orlando-area readers will know Scott as the former restaurant critic for the Sentinel. Scott also just posted a review of Epcot's Nine Dragons restaurant.]

Well in the midst of all the layoffs, I was able to get a full time summer job at WDW in Attractions, on a Summer Alumni College Program...not sure what ride I'll be working yet, but look for me this summer! I'll be sure to give a true "insider" look as always

Nice Nine Dragons review, Scott. Loved the last line about using your credit card. LOL!

And Corey, gratz on the job! Good luck!
