Theme park T-shirt of the day

October 6, 2009, 3:51 PM · A person I follow on Twitter just sent out the message: "'People make plans and God laughs at them.' I bet He is cracking up today."

Seems an appropriate sentiment for a day in which my coverage plan blew up like a Michael Bay movie.

Or perhaps I should draw my inspiration from a T-shirt:

Boldly going nowhere

Sure, it's from Universal Orlando. But given that that park's half-owner is party to the deal that refuses to happen so I can't cover it, I'm gonna go with it. Sums up my feelings for the day, that's for sure.

Anyone else have any favorite theme park T-shirts they'd like to describe?

October 6, 2009 at 10:50 PM · Spent the whole day waiting to publish the report on the Busch theme park sale... which didn't come through, despite many, many off-the-record reports from within the company that it would on Tuesday. I had at least four interviews lined up... all of which didn't happen.

So, in short, I spent the day boldly going nowhere.

Love the shirt, too. A little Photoshopping and you could have your BEC shirt, but I am not that attuned to PS.

On the back it has a small Scar (bad guy from Lion King). He laughs and says if only the criminals could see what he is wearing...
