Last week I wrote on Facebook that all theme parks should liveeam their attraction opening ceremonies on the Web. (As Disneyland did for the World of Color premiere.)

Well, Universal Orlando's not going keep Harry Potter fans around the world in the dark. Universal announced today that it will webcast the Wizarding World of Harry Potter grand opening at www.universalorlando.com/HarryPotterNews.

There will be two webcasts:

Celebrity Preview: Wednesday, June 16 from 9:30 – 10:00 PM EDT

Official Public Grand Opening: Friday, June 18 from 9:00 – 9:30 AM EDT

I wonder where they got this idea... so new and innovative... ;)

I am still happy about it though, I think everyone should do this!

Just an FYI... My e-mail from Universal actually said 9:30 to 10:30 PM EST for the Celebrity Preview live streaming video.

Im going to the grand opening on Friday, was just wondering if anyone had an idea of a good time to show up before gates open. I read the garage doesnt open til 5:30am so should I get to the garage even earlier and wait in line there as well?

I was majorly disappointed in the celebrity preview. :(
