The Boathouse Restaurant Opens at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World welcomed its newest restaurant to the Downtown Disney/Disney Springs area this morning: The Boathouse.

Offering a menu of steaks, chicken, burgers, and seafood — served with waterside views — The Boathouse is open from 11am to 2am daily.
The Boathouse is located in the "The Landing" section of Disney Springs, the refurbished shopping and dining area that Disney is creating on the site of Downtown Disney. (If you've got a long memory, The Boathouse stands about where the old Rock n' Rock Beach Club building once stood.) In addition to the menu and views, the restaurant's "hook" is its collection of amphibious cars and water taxis that will take visitors on tours around the Disney Springs area.

We should note that Disney is calling the restaurant "The BOATHOUSE," using all capital letters, which elicited this perfect response:
The BOATHOUSE will hereinafter be known as The CAPSLOCK Restaurant.
— David Landon (@futureprobe1982) April 13, 2015The Boathouse is a production of Schussler Creative, a themed hospitality company that's also created Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, and Yak and Yeti at the Walt Disney World Resort, as well as Hot Dog Hall of Fame at Universal Orlando.
If you're dining at The Boathouse this week, please share your review of the new restaurant, in the comments.

We will be eating their next weekend when we get into town, I'll be sure and take plenty of photos and write up a review, if no one has done so by then.
