These Will Be the Fastest Coaster Trains in Orlando This Summer
SeaWorld Orlando this morning unveiled the coaster train for its new hypercoaster, Mako.

The new Bolliger & Mabillard creation will be the first of the Swiss company's hyper coasters in the Orlando market. As such, it will be the area's fastest roller coaster — with a top speed of 73 miles per hour. Named for one of the world's fastest shark species, Mako will top out at 200 feet and feature on-board music as well as multiple over-water elements on its more than 4,000 feet of track.
Mako will feature clamshell lap guards as the only rider restraints on the vehicle, allowing riders to feel more of the coaster's airtime elements.

Mako will feature seven of these cars on each of its three trains. The ride will open sometime this summer.

Very excited about this coaster. 'Bout time the greater Orlando area gets a muscle car!! Joel Manby is already making a positive impact at SeaWorld.
Not as fast, tall, or as long as my dear Nitro, but it looks like it will be just as good
This looks very similar to Shambalah at Portaventura in Spain. Which is a fantastic coaster with great airtime! Can't wait to go back to Orlando next year to ride Mako!!
This is right in SeaWorld's wheelhouse and Mako will be a big success. Unfortunately, the move at SeaWorld San Diego with the new submarine ride/pavilion, even though its another great idea, will be underwhelming, like Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. SeaWorld as a whole desperately needs successes without any missteps. Mako will ultimately be another step forward for SeaWorld Orlando. Keep the successes coming.
Sea World will always be for us about the animals, the coasters are just a bonus. As much as I am looking forward to riding mako I would never miss visiting SeaWorld when we visit Orlando as their shows are amazing and very educational for our kids.
