Disneyland: Home to the Most Magical Potties on Earth

March 17, 2016, 5:08 PM · It should go without saying that little kids see theme parks in very different ways than grown-ups. However, we do go ahead and say that because the ways in which little kids see parks differently are, frankly, often hilarious.

I've got one example for you in my Orange County Register column this week, which looks back at what, for a while, was my now-grown daughter's favorite attraction at Disneyland when she was a toddler.

The toilets.

Not the big, scary grown-up toilets that looked and sounded like they could suck a small child into the Anaheim sewers forever. I'm writing about the practically-perfect-in-every-way, child-sized porcelain toilets found in the baby centers in Disneyland and (I'd told now) Disney California Adventure.

Forget that lame plastic bucket on the floor at home. Only a real, kids-sized toilet at Disneyland can make potty training, well, magical.
