Multiple Twitter users this evening have posted video of what appears to be a fire at the construction site of the Splitsville restaurant in the Downtown Disney district at the Disneyland Resort.

Splitsville, a bowling-themed restaurant that also has a location at Walt Disney World's Disney Springs, is going in on the former site of the House of Blues at Disneyland. The opening date for the Anaheim location originally was announced as "late 2017," but that was pushed back to a 2018 opening. Now? It's anyone's guess.
Witnesses reported on social media that fire units responded quickly, but I've not yet found any official word on the fire's cause, duration, or the extent of its damage.

Those wildfires are spreading fast!
It was definitely not fun getting evacuated! Parking lot was more of a nightmare than normal. It hadn't gotten to the full visible flames when I went past, just a ton of smoke.
Looks outside the building itself so could be a piece of machinery or a skip fire, would not think it will have much impact on the opening date.

Once the fire was out I could see no soot or other damage on the visible part of the structure directly behind the area where I saw the flames. It looked to me like the fire was out, away from the structure by maybe ten feet. The flames got pretty high though!
