The themeing will be set in a subway, MovieWorld intend on building a complete subway, with the entrance to the ride being underground and completely themed to look like a subway. The Queue rails will be a maze of passageways and booths which the guests must walk through to get entry to the ride. Sound Effects of subway noises will be added for greater effect.
Guests will enter into a pre-show area, where it is discovered that something has gone terribly wrong, (yet to be decided – or hasn’t been told to staff yet)… They must board a subway train, and superman will push them away from the danger. The subway train is the rollercoaster, and 3d holographic images will be projected in front of each pair of seats, to submerse the guest in the world of superman….
The train will be launched at speeds of up to 190km per hour, immediantly “breaking” the guests through the ceiling of the subway and out into the open air… They will climb to a height of over 40 stories high, and the train will level out at the top. The track will then slowly tilt the guests forward untill they are completely vertical. Holding them there for a few moments to build the anticipation, and then superman will “let the train go” – and the guests will plummet head first towards the ground, coming up into a loop, and then the rest of the rollercoaster section. The train will pass through the subway section travelling over the top of guests waiting in the queue…
