Islands of Adventure musicUniversal Orlando: Does anyone know what the name of the music is which is playing outside the comic shop near the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure in Orlando?
From Ron LakemeadDoes anyone know what the name of the music is which is playing outside the comic shop near the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure in Orlando. I've been trying to find out for ages for my son.

From Brian BI'm not sure of the name of that particular song, but Universal does offer (or used to offer) a CD with all the music from Islands of Adventure. I have the CD on my Ipod but for some reason all the Marvel songs are missing.
Posted May 15, 2006 at 6:35 AM
From Chris WaltonI'm not sure, but I know they sell an IOA soundtrack CD at the big gift shop in the Port of Entry, you may find it on the track list.
Posted May 15, 2006 at 6:39 AM
From Gareth HYep, that CD's still available!
Posted May 15, 2006 at 7:57 AM
From Mark WalkerIt takes a true Islands Of Adventure fan to recognise the music of IOA. Luckily, you came to the right place. And yes I have the album downloaded on my computer. I know nearly all the songs played in the park but only 23 of them are available on the album.
Posted May 15, 2006 at 9:32 AM
Let me show you.
1) The Call Of Adventure
Of course there other songs around but they aren’t recorded on the album.
And Ron, the music you want is probably ‘Marvel Super Hero Island Main Street’ or one of the other two songs around that area but aren’t on the album. Try downloading it of the internet. Hope this helps!
From Gareth HOK, Mark is #1 fan, not so sure I'd want to buy the album.
Posted May 15, 2006 at 2:59 PM
You know which part I really like in there....
......Toon Lagoon, the way all the different areas and characters interact to become 1 sound track. Thats way cooler than anything Disney do..
From Mark WalkerIOA's number 1 fan, that's me. Happy too oblige!
Posted May 16, 2006 at 11:43 AM
From Gareth HWell I'm #2 then! So there!
Posted May 16, 2006 at 1:47 PM
Just found out a short cut on Hulk too, hee hee!
That'll teach them not to make a single rider queue!
From Mark WalkerBlasted staff taking out the single rider lines... (curse etc.)
Posted May 17, 2006 at 9:01 AM
From Greg SDid they do that for every universal park? Universal Studios Hollywood's single rider line's are closed. What is this noise?
Posted May 17, 2006 at 7:14 PM
From Mike CI think that I have been looking for the same song as Ron for a while...i have the 1999 release of the soundtrack and it is not on there if it helps. Also please let me know if you find it out.
Posted June 29, 2007 at 6:36 PM
From steve leeWhoa - the single rider line is gone? When did that happen?
Posted June 30, 2007 at 6:48 AM
And is the song that "rollercoaster" song that I think popped up in Matrix? That one gets a lot of play in MSHI
From Mike CThat one is played a a lot (called Leave you far behind by lunatic calm), which is in the matrix, but the one i am talking about is rarely played, and it is a loop of only guitar, sounds almost like surfer guitar...
Posted June 30, 2007 at 12:58 PM
From Erik YatesThat song....is elusive. It is not on any soundtrack, and no one knows the name of it. I really wish I could find it as well.
Posted July 4, 2007 at 12:04 PM
The one that usually plays is called Marvel Super Hero Island, but the one in question....I really dont know. I think it was on the Spiderman Cartoon...or the X-men cartoon.
And for lovers of the soundtrack, found this:
As for the music that was orignally being sought:
From Mike CThats the song Erik....PLEASE let me know if you find it, I will as well
Posted July 5, 2007 at 7:55 PM
From Erik YatesWhat I'm going to do is go early one morning and record it.....I'll see if I can clean it up and make it an mp3.....
Posted July 6, 2007 at 5:48 AM
From Mark WalkerWhile your at it Erik, you could record the other songs around IOA as well (Only if you've got time of course!), preferably those that I didn't list from the CD.
Posted July 6, 2007 at 8:51 AM
From Mike CYeah...please list the mp3 if you end up recording it, because I have been looking for this song for almost a year now.
Posted July 6, 2007 at 12:56 PM
From Erik YatesWhat other ones are you talking about? There are a lot that I have the names of in Marvel....but the other original songs...most of those are on the CD.
Posted July 6, 2007 at 1:26 PM
From Mark WalkerWell, for an example, in 'Merlinwood' (Dueling Dragons entrance, Oak Tavern etc.) there are 4 songs that play in that area. One of them is already listed on the CD (11. Merlinwood Plaza) but the other three aren't on the CD and I don't have a clue about there names, but I still recognise them when I hear them. Those three are the songs I'm on about.
Posted July 7, 2007 at 2:29 AM
From Mike CHas anyone found it yet?
Posted September 3, 2007 at 11:14 AM
From Erik YatesNo. I have a low quality mp3 of it that I recorded from youtube....but I dont know what the song is, or where to find it.
Posted September 3, 2007 at 2:28 PM
From Kevin Butterworthany one found islands of adventure official soundtrack were to download it or has anyone got a copy ?
Posted September 27, 2007 at 8:22 AM
From Wilfredo AlveloI have the soundtrack...its not there. I guess if you want it bad enough, someone at guest relations might be able to give you the name of it with a low quality recording to let them know which song you are talking about. Otherwise, maybe they can give you a direct recording. Good luck with that guys...it really is a cool theme.
Posted September 27, 2007 at 5:01 PM
From shock absorberI am not sure if this is what is played right outside of Spiderman, but I do know I have heard it in that area. It's Spybreak by the Propellerheads. It was pretty much made famous (to the masses)by the film The Matrix. They have only one CD to my knowledge which is Decks and Drums and Rock and Roll. That might be a good place to start. Good Luck!
Posted September 30, 2007 at 10:06 AM
From Chris WaltonYou can purchase a hard copy of the soundtrack here...
Posted September 30, 2007 at 2:48 PM
From Erik YatesPropellerheads is not the band outside of spidey.
Posted September 30, 2007 at 5:19 PM
And adventure mercantile is out of the soundtrack.
From JAMES GALLIFORDWHO KNOWS WHERE IT CAN BE DOWNLOADED? since i cant find it to buy anywhere anymore. i dont care about teh case i just want to download the music
Posted November 8, 2007 at 1:49 PM
From Mike CStill cant find it, but does anyone know the name of the music that is played in the resort video (the video that is played in the rooms of the hotels inside the park). It's the first song that's played as the title is being introduced.
Posted February 22, 2008 at 9:50 AM
From lori windersWe were at Islands of Adventure yesterday and were told that they no longer sell the soundtrack. We have searched the internet and have not been able to find a copy for purchase. If anyone has a resource for the IOA Soundtrack please let me know. My son loves it and I would love to find it for him.

Posted June 30, 2008 at 3:39 AM
From Mike CYou have to be lucky to find it. I found the soundtrack at amazon.com about a year ago. Im not sure where you'd be able to find it, though.
Posted June 30, 2008 at 8:45 AM
From Iris HernandezOMG!!! I just bought the official Islands of Adventures soundtrack on EBAY yesterday. I had been looking for that CD for a few years now and I check ebay every once in a while and I found it!!!! The price was a bit steep, it only has a buy it now($60, free shipping), but for me or any true IOA fan its totally worth it. I cant wait to get it in the mail. I was actually jumping with joy.
Posted August 19, 2008 at 6:44 AM
If you are still looking for it go on ebay and in the search engine just type Islands of Adventures CD. The search will yield three items and second one is it!!!! It will only be on Ebay for 6 more days, so hurry up if you still want to get this probably once in a lifetime chance to still get this CD. The seller only accepts Paypal, so make sure you have an account with them before you commit to buy. Good luck! :)
From Don NealNice find!
Posted August 19, 2008 at 7:38 AM
From Iris HernandezThere is little time left to get a cd, get'em while its hot people!!!!
Posted August 20, 2008 at 2:20 PM
From Andy BThe sole purpose of the Songs they play at Universal is to drive you crazy trying to think of what movie it was from. I have no idea.
Posted September 15, 2008 at 4:12 PM
From Paul StuttsThe music you are looking for is not on the IOA cd. I also have looked for it and it must be a custom created song. The music on the street in front of Spiderman consists of 3 separate instrumentals lasting about 3 minutes each. The song on the CD is only one of the three. My favorite was the guitar solo. I have tried to ID the song using software but it cannot be found.

From Nic OrlandoNo offense Mark Walker but I'm the #1 Islands of Adventure fan.
Posted July 30, 2009 at 4:04 PM
And by the way it's the "Call to Adventure"
From Nic OrlandoI know where to find at least most of the music off the soundtrack. I have already acquired 18 out of the 23 tracks.
Posted July 30, 2009 at 4:08 PM
And sorry about that last comment Mark I was just kidding. = )
From Nic OrlandoBut really Mark, I'm the biggest fan.

From Albino PygmyThere's Banner Science Park for Hulk, Dr. Doom, for you know who, Marvel Super Hero Island, overall, and Force of Storm for teacups on steroids.
Posted August 4, 2009 at 7:02 AM
As for the tracks that aren't included on the official soundtrack
From ryan andersonwhere can I download the call to adventure and ocean market trader?
Posted August 4, 2009 at 5:39 PM
From Nic OrlandoI Got them off Lime wire. If you're looking for "The Call To Adventure", just type in Islands Of adventure and you'll find it. Other songs you may find too. But the key is to keep searching on limewire. What I mean is keep pressing find more results or search by the name. For instance the only songs that I need are "Sinbad Bazaar" and "The Wacky World of Jay Ward" I had to search alot for songs like Confiscos Grill and Ocean Trader Market. But I have them now! I hope this helped you. And if you need any questions answered just ask. = )

I looked for the soundtracks of the park but i didn't find some Cd in any shop..
Help me, Plz..
Thx a lot (and sorry 4 my bad english)
From Nic OrlandoDon't take this the wrong way steve lee, as awkward as this may sound, but i love you for that. = )

From steve leeHey, I'm just glad you get the email. I was worried that none of you guys had gotten the link I sent you.
Posted August 20, 2009 at 2:28 PM
From Nic OrlandoI would like to thank all people for helping me out with acquiring the Official Islands of Adventure soundtrack. I know how great it felt to recieve help so i will pass it on to all fans. I truly love this resort and its parks, and im sure you do too. I guess this is where the forum ends, but make sure when listening to every track, you remeber the memories you had and embrace the amazing adeventure of Islands Of Adventure. http://www.mediafire.com/?vtntxmfyy1z
Posted August 20, 2009 at 5:43 PM
From steve leeNic, have you ever found anything online that wasn't on the official soundtrack? There's some alternate versions that I've heard in the park that I'd love to get my hands on (especially in the Lost Continent area - primarily remixes of the themes with more orchestration).
Posted August 20, 2009 at 8:23 PM
And threads don't really die until they hit 100 posts...
From Erick BThx a lot, Nic ;)
Posted August 21, 2009 at 2:16 PM
From Nic OrlandoNo problem erick. Steve, i know exactly what you mean. I whistle many songs that i heard in the park but just didn't find on the soundtrack. I think these songs can only be found in the park unless you or somebody else will or has already recorded them. Otherwise, they probably just belong to the park. = ( I wish I could get my hands on them. Especially with the new wizarding world of harry potter soon to open. I hope those amazing lost continent tracks don't just disappear.
Posted August 29, 2009 at 2:43 PM
From Nic OrlandoRemember before when i gave everyone a link? i found an even better file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This link gives you every mp3 from each soundtrack. The files are split into folders...1999 Official Album, 1999 Official Album Special Edition, and the 2000 official album. This was great. If one cd took away certain songs, this file will give you each individual cd so you can have every soundtrack song! The greatest part is if you put every song from every soundtrack on i tunes without repeating songs, there ends up to be 25 songs that last 1 hour and 17 minutes. It fits perfectly on an audio disc! Use winrar to open
Posted August 29, 2009 at 2:45 PM
From ryan delvesive tryed both of those links and both files have been removed is there another way of getting at them or can someone upload a complete cd onto here for me to download
Posted January 28, 2010 at 9:50 AM
From Chris HarrisHey everyone, just registered here so I could post this. I found someone who uploaded a bunch of the tracks to YouTube:

From Michael RakowskiDoes anyone know where I can get this in digital format? I can only find 1 person who is selling it for $150 on ebay and I think that is a bit on th ehigh priced side. Thanks in advance!

From Erik YatesIt's been over 3 years, and no one (including myself) has found the song that Mike C was looking for. It's not any of the songs listed above, and it's not on any of the 3 soundtracks. It's an independent song done and not credited.
Posted August 11, 2010 at 12:53 PM
I've tried using Shazam in the park, but it's unknown. I've upgraded my equipment and will soon get this song. But the mystery will remain.
From Nicola matthewsThere was a piece of music played this summer when the super heroes were on the quads. It's called BloodSugar by Pendulum: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=ryTOjUJz1PM&feature=related
