Question about Halloween at Six Flags

Six Flags Magic Mountain: This is a really short question that anyone familiar with Magic Mountain will be able to answer easily!

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be in LA during October/November and I want to visit Magic Mountain on the most uncrowded day.
I know that going on a Saturday is risky, the park is open from 10 until 6 on Fridays, how busy are Fridays and is that enough time to get in most of the coasters?
I also noticed that the park is open on Monday and Tuesday the 30th and 31st. I know that the 31st is Halloween, but I am Australian and we don't celebrate the holiday here. Is it a public holiday in America, will there be a lot of people at the park on those two days?

I understand that the park runs some special Halloween themes; does this stop the rides from running?

I would be visiting the park from open until late afternoon.
Would it be best to avoid the Halloween days and visit on a Sunday/Friday during November?

Thanks everyone!
James

If you're into halloween, then go on the monday before halloween. If you don't care about halloween, then go in november. All rides will/should be running regardless of when you go. As a former mechanic there I would say you'd probably have more fun going before halloween!

Thanks for the response, I don't mind Halloween but I don't really mind if I miss it or not, my main concern is going when the least amount of people are there.

If you want to be scared, Go to Universal Studios Hollywood. MM halloween thing isn't very good.
