Camping around Cedar Point question...

Cedar Point: Just wondered if anyone can tell us where to camp if going to CP?

We usually stay at hotels/motels when "theme parking" but since I've read about camping while visiting CP, I was wanting to know if there was a recommended place to camp or any negatives about it, how far from the park is camping, is it rvs only or are there tent sites too, etc. I know hotels are better but if camping is avail. my hubby likes to camp which I don't mind at all but would like some info about it. If anyone can help us out w/the info, we'd very much appreciate it. Thanx! ;)

Adrienne,
If you have an RV, camper village at Cedar Point is fantastic. It is a short walk from your camper to the resort gate. You have access to all of the resort benefits, but it is much less expensive than the Hotel Breakers or the other hotel on the point. There is no better way to go to Cedar Point IMO. By the way it still costs $70.00 a night for full hook-up. It's not cheap, but you don't have to pay for parking!
