How are things at Magic Mountain lately?Six Flags Magic Mountain: I am taking a group of student in early May......want to see how things are.
From Jay Posteraro
I was wondering if anyone has been to Magic Mountain within the past month? I am taking 100 students in early May. What rides have been closed? Is the park any cleaner? Anything comments would be helpful.Posted April 12, 2007 at 7:39 PM

psyclone was torn down this year. as far as the park being cleaner, it's always clean at the start of the day. Posted April 14, 2007 at 9:00 AM

I think it's pretty good. The last time I went was last year, and it was pretty good. I am going on May 23rd. I hope its good threre right now... Ther weather is supposed to be REALLY hot like any city in Cali would be at this time of year...I DID hear that they are tering down Psyclone and some other ride (?). Overall, yesiree, perrrttyy good....Posted April 28, 2007 at 2:01 PM

the other ride they are taking down is flashback. that is the blue coaster by the waterpark that has a back and forth layout. It was apparently never a popular ride and the noise it made meant that it could not be operated at the sime time as the waterpark so that lifeguards could hear people screaming for help. It has be SBNO(standing but not operating) for at least 3 years I think. It has been a huge waste of space, especially since they have very little space to work with.Posted May 8, 2007 at 12:33 PM

im sorry if its already a done subject...but since we are talking about MM... is it true they are tearing down the park?Posted May 10, 2007 at 1:21 PM

Nope--it's alive and well and no longer being sold, and likely to improve. The extra space where Psyclone was will probably be re[?]themed (a dark ride pretty please!); there's rumors that Flashback could be restored and moved to that area. IMO a good family ride could/should go where Flashback is right now, being next to Bugs Bunny World and all.Posted May 12, 2007 at 2:51 AM
