I am planning a trip to Florida with my gf in mid August. We are not too concerned about the heat, so I would like to know any and every opinion on the rides, shows, restaurants, and everything in BGA, IOA, and Sea World. We are spending one day at SWO, 2days at BGA and one day at IOA. I really just want to here what is the best of each aspect of the parks, rather than a plan for the parks. I have an idea about most rides, but the shows and restaurants I need more info on also. Thanks!

For IOA...Mythos is a great restaurant and lives up the hype. Otherwise the pizza place/cafe on the super hero island had pretty good food. The meal deals you can get off the web site for the park and for City Walk are worth looking into if you are planning on being there most of the day.

The Sinbad stunt show isn't bad if you want to take a break from the heat and sit down for a bit.

I have never been to IOA, but I can comment on SW and BGA. I have visited both parks on 3 separate occasions. At Sea World, I have eaten at the Spice Mill, Sea Fire Inn, Mama's Kitchen, and the Hospitality Deli. The selection was good, and everything was very fresh. At BGA, I have eaten at Zagora Cafe and the Desert Grill. Once again, outstanding food quality.

At Sea World, it really is mostly about the animals. The shows are very entertaining, but please heed the advice and get there early for good seats (or just to get a seat, for that matter). My personal favorite show is Blue Horizons, all of the other adults in my party prefer Believe. And if you like thrill rides, don't miss Kraken.

BGA has good animal exhibits as well, if you want a break from the coasters and other rides. The view from the sky ride is beautiful, and the Serengeti Express is very interesting. As far as shows, I did not see any this trip. But some of my family did see Katonga, and scolded me for not seeing it, too. They said it was a very well done show.

Anyways, I hope this helps some. I am possibly returning again in June (don't usually go to Florida in the summer, but may have an opportunity to travel with extended family). If I return, I may have more insights. Regardless, I hope that your trip is very pleasurable.
